AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian characterized Iran-Turkey relations as strong and emphasized that the Islamic Republic is prepared to consolidate and expand its ties with Islamic nations, particularly Turkey.
During a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday, President Pezeshkian extended his congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Islamic Festival of Sacrifice.
The Iranian president expressed hope that this significant Islamic event would foster greater unity among Muslim nations and contribute to ending the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime.
In response, Erdogan congratulated the Iranian government and people on this Islamic occasion, describing it as an opportune moment to enhance peace, tranquility, and solidarity among Muslim nations.
He highlighted the active cooperation between the joint committees of the two countries and expressed optimism that the full implementation of agreements from the Iran-Turkey Supreme Council of Economic Cooperation would further strengthen coordination between Tehran and Ankara.
